Where do the teams work?
All teams operate from secure, professional IT By Design offices. No work-from-home access to customer systems. No hybrid arrangements.
How are HR and compliance handled?
IT By Design acts as employer of record and manages payroll, benefits, local labor compliance, and day-to-day HR support through a dedicated HR Business Partner assigned to your team.
Will IT By Design sign BAAs?
Yes. IT By Design operates within SOC 2 Type II certified facilities and will execute Business Associate Agreements when required for regulated environments.
What happens if someone leaves?
IT By Design supports continuity through HR oversight and talent acquisition assistance for backfill. Structured onboarding processes minimize disruption when transitions happen.
How is this different from co-managed?
In co-managed, ITBD trains engineering resources, provides delivery oversight, bench access, and shares accountability for outcomes. In self-managed, your MSP owns performance and outcomes entirely, and you can hire beyond engineering into any function across your business.
