New Jersey, July 18, 2019—The inaugural partner event hosted by New Jersey Master MSP IT By Design (ITBD), a market leader providing engineering talent to IT service providers, brought nearly 400 MSP community members together July 14-16 to share knowledge and best practices for IT services providers. The event, which hosted 300 MSP businesses, clearly met its purpose of providing actionable knowledge for business leaders within the IT channel, as showcased in the recap video of the two-day event.

“For 20 years, our team has been building toward this—the opportunity to offer unparalleled knowledge and exceptional business opportunities within a single event that went well beyond our internal expectations. We have set a new bar for channel events by executing on the ‘go-giver’ mindset to provide more value than our guests anticipated,” commented Sunny Kaila, ITBD, Chief Executive Officer. “Of course, I had high expectations of the event, but even those were completely overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, engagement, energy and open exchange of ideas that we saw on the main stage, in the workshops, and in the networking time at Build IT.”

ITBD launched Build IT as part of its commitment to knowledge sharing with its partners and other MSPs to positively impact the IT channel, eliminating the need to “reinvent the wheel,” by opening a positive exchange of ideas between business owners, their peers, and experts in the industry.

Guests left Build IT with the Build IT Workbook, which included presentation materials, templates, and worksheets tailored for the IT channel by the more than 30 presenters. Highlights of the two-day event included the Origins Stories Panel featuring advice from channel influencers Rob RaeGary PicaJeff BishopJim Lippie, and the Change Champions Panel, where Paul DippellRyan GilesRex FrankChris Romano, and Brad Schow discussed transforming your business. The event also included keynotes by ITBD leadership, marketing expert Robin Robins and John C. Maxwell, leadership expert.

Kam Attwal-Kaila, President, ITBD, added, “With Build IT, we wanted to provide an environment to learn, with tools to be immediately applied in our guests’ businesses. As I spoke with attendees, I believe we accomplished that. Our MSP community is so strong, and they’ve been a big part of our success, so It’s great to be able to return that favor.”

In all, the event attracted 300 IT businesses and 25 sponsors, with 400 people attending. Recaps are available on the ITBD blog and by checking out #BuildIT19.
